Barry Ferguson is assured followers will see a Rangers group with larger “power” and “a little bit of want” when he makes his debut as interim supervisor towards Kilmarnock on Wednesday.
Talking at his first media convention since being appointed till the tip of the season after Sunday’s sacking of Philippe Clement, the previous Rangers captain insisted he isn’t seeking to the longer term past the go to to Rugby Park.
The Belgian exited after successive residence defeats by second-tier Queen’s Park within the Scottish Cup and St Mirren within the Premiership.
Ferguson says some gamers might “want an arm round them”, whereas others might have “a clip across the ear” to enhance performances and outcomes.
“I used to be easy with the gamers,” he stated. “It is a good place to be. You are fortunate to be right here. Take a look at the services, take a look at the stadium.
